About the Opportunity:
NBCUniversal has an opening for a Scheduler position supporting Dry Creek On Air Operations. This is an opportunity to join a fast-paced organization that supports live 24/7 television operations for NBCUniversal’s Owned NBC and Telemundo Stations.
The Scheduler provides day-to-day scheduling support for a team of Tech Managers and Master Control Operators within the 24/7 Dry Creek On Air Operation.
Works with Dry Creek On Air Managers to understand the 24/7 operational needs and to schedule personnel and facilities accordingly.
Works collaboratively with the On Air Operations team to share administrative responsibilities using internal scheduling & timekeeping systems.
Implements creative approaches to scheduling personnel and facilities to optimize workforce management efficiency guidelines.
Demonstrates understanding of workplace policies, business practices, and operations and applies these accordingly.
Partners with Managers to resolve urgent needs and training schedule conflicts.
Creates, reviews, and manages the schedule through the master spreadsheet and scheduling system.
Manages one-time-only event needs and schedules against them.
Schedules employees based on training matrix and competency model.
Works with employees to determine availability.
Schedules time off by entering/reviewing time off in scheduling system, managing vacation profile communications, and updating employee-specific time off accruals.
Books hotels as needed by the operation.
Reviews schedules for potential conflicts and escalates as needed.
Minimum 2 years of experience in administrative/scheduling functions preferred.
Working knowledge of broadcast operations.
Understanding of workplace policies and business practices and applies this to scheduling procedures.
Understanding of technology tools and resource scheduling systems.

Willingness and open availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, to meet the 24/7 operational needs.
Must be willing to work in Centennial, CO.
Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong computer skills required, especially Microsoft Excel
Proven administrative and organizational skills
Ability to think quickly, communicate well and keep pace with fast moving shows
Strong client service and interpersonal skills and the ability to handle pressure in an on-air environment
Ability to work in fast-paced, team-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to adapt in a constantly changing environment
