Responsibilities

This part time position is responsible for assisting in maintaining / replacing equipment, wiring, and general maintenance tasks at a HD production and editing facility in Chicago, IL.

Job Duties

  • PLEASE NOTE: This is a Part Time position, working approximately 2 days per week and filling in on weekends, overnights and holidays as needed.

  • Support daily engineering needs for repairs, upgrades, and expansion.

  • Perform equipment and facility maintenance to ensure clear transmissions for “On Air” productions

  • Wire and install newly purchased capital equipment.

  • Maintain production and editing technical spaces.

  • Monitor broadcast operations and assist with inventory control.

  • Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications/Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of related technical experience.Additional Job Requirements
