DreamWorks Animation Television’s Music Department is seeking an experienced cue sheet administrator, who has a strong musical background and understanding of original created content, production timelines and grasps the significance of synchronization licenses, publishing splits and PRO information.


  • Preparing, processing, administering and submitting cue sheets for our programming, including reviewing episodes, editing, and correcting cue sheet drafts

  • Maintaining and improving our cue sheet database

  • Collecting and tracking final deliverables from composers, songwriters, and lyricists

  • Finalizing cue sheets in Rapid Cue in a timely manner (within two weeks of final mix), working with Music Clearance to confirm all license cue timings are correct in advance of finalization

  • Submitting finalized cue sheets to the PROs

  • Drafting cue sheets for all promotional and marketing materials for all television series (i.e.. trailers, consumer products, etc.)

  • Tracking use of TV music assets for all out-of-show uses

  • Updating the International Team on the status of all music assets and whether or not they are available for localization

  • Tracking and collecting NDAs, COAs, Song Info Sheets, and Lyricist Info Sheets

  • Maintaining an archive of all TV Music Deals

Desired Characteristics

  • Extremely high level of attention to detail

  • Musical knowledge (Music degree a plus) and the ability to identify thematic material re-orchestrated and re-interpreted in a number of ways

  • Clear and concise communication skills

  • Ability to work proactively, independently and reliably on multiple projects under tight timeframes in a fast-paced production environment

  • Ability to pivot quickly and be resourceful, think practically and be solution-oriented

  • 2-5 years previous experience working with cue sheets and entering data into Rapid Cue a plus

  • Pre-existing relationships with PROS

Candidates should have a thorough understanding of the importance of cue sheets, and a strong working knowledge of the many factors involved in completing them accurately. Being able to spot and track melodic motifs that are woven into the score as part of the episodic reviews are essential. This individual will actively contribute to cue sheet innovation to help shape our cue sheet administration and delivery strategy.
