The candidate would be responsible for drafting and revising employment agreements, day player agreements and independent contractor agreements (under the supervision of an attorney), communicating with production executives and business and legal affairs executives in connection with those agreements, preparing talent agreement summaries and status reports, reviewing credits as needed, and drafting various other reports and memos as directed by the supervising attorney. The candidate would also be responsible for inputting data into a customized database and preparing reports for executives from that database, preparing and circulating notes regarding contract end dates and optional terms, drafting and distributing all contract notices and letters and initiating all paperwork for contractual salary increases.
Bachelor degree and/or paralegal certificate required
At least 5 years of paralegal experience at a major law firm or entertainment studio
Excellent computer skills required (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Eligibility Requirements:

Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program
Superior oral and written communication skills, contract drafting experience required
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Proficiency in analyzing and succinctly summarizing contracts
Detail-oriented with outstanding organizational skills
Database management experience preferred as there is a high volume of data entry into a customized program
Must be able to multi-task and handle high volume in a deadline driven environment
Candidate must also be a team player with a good sense of humor
