Responsibilities

Development and assist with the implementation of an analytics backend to support our slate of games. You’ll be on the ground floor, helping decide the direction of the code and architecture. This includes:

  • Developing Data Store / Data Warehouse

  • Integration and implementation of 3rd tools via SDKs and APIs

  • Translate and code Data Science models into production ready units

Qualifications/Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Seven or more years of experience in software development

  • Expertise with Java, Python or Scala

  • Experience with Spring or Play framework

  • Expertise with Cassandra, Hadoop, Spark, Impala or similar

  • Experience building machine learning back-ends (Tensorflow) heavily desired

  • In-depth understanding of SQL

  • Solid command and the ability to implement modern design patterns

  • Experience working with cross functional teams

  • Experience developing in Java or other object oriented languages for a distributed environment

  • Familiar with various design and architectural patterns

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience with AWS or other cloud services

  • Experience with distributed systems, micro-services (Kubernetes)

  • Write Unit tests, perform code reviewsAdditional Job Requirements:
