Responsibilities

●Respond quickly to breaking news, helping in all production

●Pre-interview and book characters for television and digital pieces

●Research and develop stories

●Make crew requests, edit requests and graphics requests

●Assist in production, including going on shoots, logging tapes, and pulling video elements

●Participate in special projects, pitch enterprise story ideas, and assist senior producers as needed

●Write short pieces for our digital verticals

●Work as a team player across all NBC News platforms

Qualifications/Requirements

●Undergraduate degree, preferably in journalism or communications

●Minimum 2 years in a newsroom environment
