Responsibilities

He or she will oversee a team of in-house Designers and an extended network of freelancers and agency partners, all supporting multiple projects, including key art, OOH, Events, Press kits, and promo graphic design. The main focus is on SYFY projects but not limited to, as there will be an opportunity to work on USA network projects. This role ensures cross platform consistency from print, digital to motion design. This role is part of the Cable Entertainment Design group supporting the SYFY channel and USA network. The Creative Director will report to the Vice President of Design on SYFY creative marketing campaigns.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Provide leadership and inspiration to the design team

-Develop, articulate and execute a strong creative vision for every project and campaign

-Oversee the creative execution of cross-platform marketing campaigns

-Ensure that all on-air graphics, digital and print assets, off-air sales and marketing presentations are compelling, consistent, and align with network marketing and brand strategies

Qualifications/Requirements

-Bachelor’s degree in graphic design

-Minimum of 10 years of creative marketing or advertising experience

-Strong creative management background

-Well-rounded portfolio of client work, demonstrating a strong understanding of client objectives and strategies. --Experience in the creation and implementation of campaigns for all platforms

-Excellent written and oral communication/presentation skills with proven persuasive skills with clients

-Professional knowledge of Adobe Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign a must

-Basic knowledge of After Effect, Cinema 3D and Premiere is a plus
