A key member of our creative team, the Designer will work with the Creative Director, Off-Air to conceptualize and execute compelling creative and deliver cutting edge design skills for Consumer and Trade Marketing, Press and other network areas. The qualified candidate should have a sophisticated design sense with the ability to deliver innovative, high-end designs, have strong typography skills, great attention to detail, and possess the ability to manage a project from conception to completion. This individual should excel at working both independently as well as in a collaborative team environment. They also must be able to handle a number of projects at once, and work well under tight deadlines.
The Off-Air Design department works in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Our projects encompass packaging, seasonal gifts for various internal departments, out-of-home advertising for show launches, brochures, Creating style guides designing show logos for Oxygen Network and digital creative to promote each show.
Conceive and develop concepts individually as well as in a collaborative environment and generate and design intelligent, inspirational concepts that are both uniquely creative and capture the voice of the brand.
Strong Digital design and understanding of digital units a must.
Conceive and design network print and online materials including marketing collateral, logos, presentations, event decor, social marketing assets, press kits and other pieces as necessary.
Work closely motion graphic designers to ensure continuity of design and shared assets.
Understanding of prepress process for printed production. Producing mechanicals for post production
Take direction from creative briefs and turn them into concepts and working assets and work closely with all levels of the creative team.
Work with Production Managers to keep all projects on time and on budget
Persuasively present creative concepts to Creative Director and contribute to the creation of all brand, logo and style guidelines
Minimum of 2 years print and/or online design experience.Additional Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in design related field highly desired
Portfolio demonstrates digital design, strong type skills, strong sense of color.
Programs include Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, PowerPoint. AfterEffects and Premiere a plus.
Strong creative concept, design, and typographical skills a must.
Proven experience in print (4 color, spot colors, PDF and print ready files) and print production techniques as candidate must be able to complete a job from design concept to pre-press preparation to file delivery.
Familiarity with Flash, HTML, web design, AfterEffects/Cinema 4D & PowerPoint presentation design a plus.
Candidate must have the ability to juggle multiple assignments, work under tight deadlines and function as a team player.
Experience with branding
Experience in television, films or entertainment preferred but not required
