Role Summary

The Manager, Campus Programs is a key member of the Campus Recruiting Leadership team, which is responsible for identifying, developing, and executing future-focused campus recruiting strategies that address critical business needs across NBCUniversal. This requires an enterprise-wide mindset, strong communication skills, organizational savvy to effectively influence and partner with groups across a matrixed environment, and operational excellence to bring ideas to fruition.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute and gain exposure to a wide spectrum of work streams that the Campus Recruiting team has in motion at any given time. The Manager, Campus Programs manages across multiple programs/events to ensure alignment with objectives, timely execution, and tracking against budget. Role is based in New York, NY.


  • Partner closely with Director, Campus Programs on various projects, initiatives and reports

  • Direct management & leadership of Campus Recruiting team - manages performance and annual objective setting, review processes

  • Partner closely with Campus Programs Leadership Team on team initiatives; including strategies to increase diverse representation and hires through university relations, school selection and recruiting strategies

  • Oversight of recruitment timelines (on-campus and job postings, intern request process and timeline)

  • Manage recruitment event calendar including on-site treks

  • Conduct ongoing external benchmarking for business and talent trends to enhance recruitment efforts

  • Primary oversight of BrassRing applicant tracking system, WCN & recruitment tools

  • Set and enforce team hiring deadlines to ensure proper lead time for intern onboarding purposes

  • Facilitating the BrassRing requisition opening/closing process

  • Ensuring legal compliance in job postings

  • Primary liaison with TA Operations on BrassRing & WCN enhancements, troubleshooting and reporting

  • Leading Training/Implementation efforts on new Recruitment tools or enhancements

  • Primary oversight and management of school selection process

  • Implement & execute a robust strategy for tracking metrics & ROI of recruitment efforts

  • Management of University Relations strategy including building rapport with undergraduate and graduate programs, providing direction to team on positioning NBCUniversal as employer of choice with campuses

  • Management of On-Campus Event Planning strategy and processes

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition Employer Branding team and Events Manager to build and manage internal and external event management strategy and manage vendor relationships

  • Manage team budget tracking and planning



  • Bachelor's Degree required, Master's degree preferred

  • Project Management Certification preferred

  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, including large, complex programs or projects

  • Experience working within a large, cross-functional, and matrixed organization

  • Strong PC skills and proficiency with Microsoft Suite

  • Proven ability to build relationships, work collaboratively, seek connections, and interface effectively at multiple levels throughout the organization

  • Ability to think critically and creatively to solve problems and drive decisions to address business needs

  • Excellent project management skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong presentation and communication skills, able to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization both in written and oral form

  • Ability to navigate, adapt, and execute within a fast-paced, changing work environment

  • Positive, self-starter attitude; ability to work independently, leverage available resources effectively and take an extraordinary level of personal accountability

  • Team player with natural tendency to seek feedback and leverage strengths of the collective team toward reaching common goals
