NBC News is seeking a Producer to lead and oversee the A-Block in the third hour of the TODAY Show.
Pitch and produce stories of the day
Work with remote news gathering producer on story selection
Order video and graphics and edit writing elements for the segments
Work with the researcher to ensure all elements match script and are ordered correctly
Liaise with control room regarding all stories/correspondents/etc.
Coordinate live shots of correspondent and cut their video & graphic elements
Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism or similar discipline
5+ years of network or cable on-air experience
Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to manage others
Knowledge of politics, current events, pop culture & entertainment.
Must be proficient in iNews.Additional Job Requirements

Proven skills and experience developing, producing and directing shoots.
Proven ability to collaborate with designers, editors, and other producers.
Must be detail-oriented and have excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
