ROLE SUMMARY:

NBCUniversal is looking for a Senior Analyst of Digital and Cross-Platform Ad Sales Research to help the USA, SYFY and broader NBCU Entertainment vertical. This critical thinker will support the Manager and Senior Director of Ad Sales Research in highlighting the value of USA and SYFY digital / social platforms, full episode consumption across screens, and the effectiveness of advertising campaigns with linear, digital and social elements (including partner sites like BuzzFeed, Vox, and Snapchat among others). Candidates must have experience using research and analytics to develop actionable insights and effective storytelling on behalf of advertisers.

Responsibilities

• Uncover audience and marketplace insights which showcase the value of USA and SYFY’s digital portfolio

• Collaborate with Ad Sales and Marketing teams by providing performance and success stories for custom campaign sponsorships

• Field and deliver ad hoc cross-platform analyses to benefit ad sales initiatives

• Contribute to portfolio and Entertainment vertical positioning

• Train teammates on digital measurement and analyses

Qualifications/Requirements

• Four year degree (B. A., B. S.) from an accredited college or university Mathematics, Statistics, Psychology, Marketing, Communications, Media or related field

• One or more years in digital research or analytics, preferably at a media company, vendor or digital video destination

• General knowledge of digital measurement (tagging, SDK implementation, reporting and effectiveness studies) on behalf of advertiser campaigns

• Working knowledge of Analytics toolsets including Adobe, Google, YouTube, Facebook Insights, Twitter, Nielsen/Nielsen Social, ListenFirst and comScore

• Mastery of Microsoft Excel (formatting/creating charts and graphs, pivot tables and formulas) and PowerPoint
