The Senior Writer/Producer/Editor produces high level promos and campaigns for USA/SYFY Brandworks integrated on-air promos unit. This position will report to the Creative Director.
•Concept and execute integrated promos in the network’s voice, in partnership with network advertising partners, for the network’s original and acquired series, movies, and network co-branded franchises.
•Write, produce, edit and direct network sales materials.
•Collaborate with creative director and integrated marketing team in developing new, innovative, integrated creative solutions for ad partners and cross-portfolio NBCU partners.
•Minimum 5 years in a similar capacity creating innovative content for an entertainment cable or broadcast network or advertising agency
•An expert understanding of branding in order to creatively and innovatively integrate an advertiser’s brand with the network’s brand
•Must have strong editorial skills and be proficient in Adobe Premier and Adobe After Effects
Articulate creative direction when leading designers, editors, sound and music technicians
Clear presentation skills, from simple written scripts to more formal presentations to clients
•Must have a proven, demonstrable track record of producing first rate work
•Must be able to provide a reel of promo work
•Must be willing to work in New York, NY
•Must be willing to travel – approximately 20%

•Minimum 5 years experience working at a television network in on-air promotion
•Demonstrated creativity and expertise in writing, concepts and style
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•Detail oriented (attention to house number, library and promo scheduling systems)
•Self-starter who is assertive, enthusiastic and highly motivated
•An appreciation and working knowledge of science fiction and genre content
•Polished with good interpersonal skills
•Collaborative and happy to mentor junior staff
•Directing experience a plus
•Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, team-oriented environment
•In-depth knowledge of current market trends in the areas of advertising and integrated marketing promotions
