The Japanese Operations intern will learn about and assist in the different facets of international broadcasting and bilingual production.

Responsibilities:• Support the Japanese commentary team with tournament research, prep and live broadcasts

• News Coordinator role for nightly news show (Golf Central) - gather and transcribe English info for the localization team, work the broadcast from the audio room during the voice-over session, liaise with Japanese broadcast partner and various internal departments

• Format and archive press releases, stats, and other info from golf organizations

• Contribute to the production of seasonal in-studio Japanese Golf Central Special shows, Live From productions and tournament broadcasts

• Provide Japanese language assistance in edit sessions and studio shoots if qualified

• Log and transcribe English and Japanese footage where applicable

• Assist in the scheduling and staffing of localization projects for the department

• Ingest, archive and ship field discs and tapes

• Attend, take notes and summarize programming, localization team and commentary staff meetings



• Must be enrolled in a college/university or within 3 months of graduation

• Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite

• Golf knowledge

• Japanese language
