Manage media for Universal Orlando Resort. Primary liaison with local media in the planning and execution of Florida media (television, direct response television, radio, outdoor (static and digital), out-of-home and print) for Theme Parks and internal partners (CityWalk, Blue Man Group, Resorts, etc.) Potential to plan/buy portions of Florida/North America media campaigns in-house. Liaison with Director Offline/Integrated International Media and local media on National/North America and International media campaigns. Manage corporate partner media including evaluation of media proposals and alignment of partner media with Universal Orlando media plans. Oversee invoice reconciliation and trafficking of paid media. Collaborate with Director, Online Media & Promotions and local media to develop integrated media campaigns. Execute media plans against marketing strategy, perform analysis and market research, oversee offline media budget and develop appropriate business action plans. This position has two (2) direct reports.
Primary liaison with local media and media vendors on the planning and execution of Florida Offline Media. Plan and place secondary priority Florida Media Campaigns. Utilize media planning and buying software. Collaborate with Corporate Partnership team to evaluate and align Corporate Partner media plans with UO media plans. Utilize post-analysis and industry research to optimize and influence future campaign decisions to increase awareness and intent. Collaborate with team of online media to develop integrated FL media campaigns and plans.
Work with Director Offline/Integrated International Media and external agency on the planning and execution of National/North America spot market and international media. To include pre-planning strategy sessions with brand team to develop target. Strategy sessions with internal partners to determine media mix, timing and execution of campaign and budget oversight. Collaborate with IMC team on creative executions to ensure they are feasible within plan and make adjustments as needed.
Oversee traffic and invoice process. Maintain all applicable media flows and budget grids. To include, but not limited to, event specific year-over-year flows, event spend/TRP’s/ spot year-over-year comparison grids, weekly comparison grids, point-of-origin media flows, etc.
Manage Media Representative, Associate Representative and Coordinator. Provides mentorship, leadership, motivation and career development opportunities for direct reports.
Collaboration with multiple internal and external partners.

Ability to write media plans as part of overall marketing plans.
Media planning and buying.
Use of Microsoft Office software suite.
Use of media planning/buying software, Strata, Arbitron/Nielsen data, SQAD.
EDUCATION: Candidate must have at minimum a Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university.
5 to 7 years of experience within the Media Industry.
Ability to plan and buy spot-market media is required along with extensive knowledge of integrated media on a local and national basis.
Management experience is required.
