Responsible for strategy development, execution and community management, the successful candidate will be a thought leader within the organization and stay abreast on current and forecasted social media and digital marketing trends.

Responsibilities

Job Duties

  • Leverage social media platforms (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.,) to communicate brand stories.

  • Lead the development of a social marketing strategy as it relates to messaging, engagement and content across multiple social media brand and property platforms.

  • Collaborate closely with digital and creative teams to drive a cohesive vision and provide creative direction and feedback to drive development of high-performing content that reflects and drives brand positioning.

  • Manage the day-to-day messaging, monitoring and moderation of multiple social media platforms.

  • Create strategic campaigns and publish content for multiple brands and properties across the company.

  • Develop best practices and create social guidelines to inspire more engaging content creation from internal teams and partners.

  • Collaborate with and act as a guide and expert to other teams that have social media involvement and responsibilities – i.e. international, Plus, etc.

  • Cultivate a metrics-based approach to measure effectiveness of social media, with the ability to iterate on successes.

  • Provide regular updates to business partners, ensuring performance goals are being met and providing recommendations when necessary.

  • Monitor and quantify mentions and engagement through social monitoring tool and provide regular reports with insights.

  • Oversee the recruitment, implementation and management of social media vendor relationships and tools.

  • Maintain a plan against mature and emerging forms of media communications, keeping company abreast of the ever-changing consumer preferences and trends.

  • Oversee the strategy, development and implementation of other online content including images, infographics, videos, and blogs utilizing keywords, campaign tags, etc.

  • Identifies appropriate timeline for posting, engaging and optimizing content specific to each social media platform.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Marketing or relevant field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of social media or technology marketing experience in developing and executing social media strategies and campaigns that drive referral traffic, community engagement and customer loyalty.

  • Must have excellent writing and communication skills, with experience in developing and managing content calendars and content development, including UGC.

  • Proven ability to work within established brand guidelines and with creative teams in content development.

  • Proven ability to leverage innovative storytelling and emerging platforms to identify and engage with knownand new audiences

  • Strong team and project management skills with ability to partner across functions, business units and levels to achieve results.

  • Deep understanding of how social media fits within the marketing and communications mix as well as knowledge of other marketing disciplines including Search, Display and SEO

  • Ability and know-how to set quarterly goals with clear KPIs against all channels, campaigns and tactics and meet those goals.

  • Ability to present social strategies and business results to senior leadership

  • Unbreakable good judgment particularly in high pressure times

  • Fluent in community management amongst multiple corporate social media platforms.

  • Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously within short time lines.

  • Customer-centric orientation with proven track-record of developing and acting on customer insights.

  • Must have knowledge of CMS systems, preferably WordPress.

  • Strong analytical skills, Powerpoint and Excel a must, tableau and other BI tools a plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, managing several projects simultaneously and setting priorities with minimal supervision

  • Work well in fast paced, team oriented environment

  • Punctual, regular and consistent attendance
