The Media Asset manager is a manager role who is accountable for executing advertising campaigns and programs for Golf Channel.

Job Duties

  • Management of and leadership over all traffic functionality for Golf Channel marketing/promo assets, both incoming and outgoing

  • Provides leadership for any/all last minute log changes as it relates to marketing assets

  • Serves as a liaison between other log management teams (Traffic, Comm Ops, BOC) for anything marketing related

  • Responsible for ensuring ‘as run’ reports are accurate, complete and ingested correctly and in a timely manner

  • Reconciles post logs to ensure proper format and delivery of promo time

  • Works closely with Manager of Promotions to understand promotion plans to ensure plans are executed as intended

  • Obtain and communicate all project details for all creative job requests and initiate, manage and track all work orders within the work order management system

  • Manages tagging standards for the network and ensures all creative adheres to said standards

  • Check materials for accuracy and completeness and ensures all work has been appropriately reviewed internally for quality control standards

  • Serves as an internal administrator for work order management system

  • Contributes to efficiencies by ensuring work order requests align with inventory availability

  • Work with the creative team to balance the workload, to ensure creative is built and delivered on time and to spec

  • Is the backstop to make sure all deadlines are met

  • Manages the scheduling and tracking of Greensheets and other secondary events


Basic Qualifications

  • 6 years of marketing / advertising / trafficking experience

  • Knowledge of television promotions with an emphasis on traffic process and systems

  • Excellent knowledge of broadcast or television trafficking, knowledge in digital trafficking a plus

  • A talent for process management and improvement

  • Excellent organizational and deadline management skills

  • Experience in a fast-paced work environment with proven ability to manage several complex tasks at onceAdditional Job Requirements
