The Producer/Editor will be an integral part of the On Air Promotions team’s efforts in writing, producing and delivering promos for Golf Channel tournaments and original series. The Producer/Editor will collaborate with internal and external clients to create promotions.
Write, produce and finalize promos for tournaments and original series
Effectively collaborate with team to create promos
Provide creative solutions to satisfy client needs and meet project objectives
Offer innovative and creative ideas that add value to video projects
Create and execute projects from script specifications provided internally or by client
Multi-task effectively, working quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment
Execute efforts in delivering high quality projects with a great level of creativity under tight deadlines.
Edit and tab materials, as directed
Gather video and graphic resources for projects
Deliver against Work Order and/or creative brief deliverables
Work in tandem with Graphics Department to ensure end pages are accurate and special graphics are developed as needed to enhance communication
Ensure the creative elements being produced ladder up to the overall objectives and deliver on strategy
Interact with voice-over talent and handle recording sessions
Ability to present campaign to larger groups of Sr. Leadership
Maybe responsible for other duties, as assignedAdditional Job Requirements:
Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice
Must have a valid driver’s license
Bachelor’s degree in digital media, broadcasting, TV/film or equivalent work experience required.
Minimum of 3 years of promotions writing and execution.
Must be proficient in Premiere and familiar with both SD and HD formats.
Must be organized, detailed and have excellent communication skills.
Providing high quality compression while keeping the file sizes small.
Ability to handle multiple projects with strict deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with limited supervision.
Strong understanding of video & audio production
Knowledge of golf, top players, and various tournaments.
Motion graphics or traditional design background a plus
Some travel required
Must be able to work nights, weekends and/or odd hours depending on telecast schedule.
