Responsibilities

The Technical Support Coordinator assists the Golf Channel Technical Support team and ensures that all support requests are properly assigned and coordinated. The Technical Support Coordinator also provides Mobile Device configuration and support as well as logistical coordination for the Golf Channel compute environment.

Candidates will need to possess knowledge of the broadcast industry, excellent communication and organizational skills, the ability to work effectively under pressure and the ability to prioritize tasks with conflicting priorities.

  • Evaluate, categorize, prioritize and assign support requests.

  • Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention - redirect problems to appropriate technical resources.

  • Provide daily reports of departmental support commitments to Client Services Manager.

  • Provide daily reports of aging support requests to Client Services Manager.

  • Assist with coordination of AV/conference room support

  • Assist asset management teams with inventory updates.

  • Assist with user move coordination, ensuring all user needs are met.

  • Assist with new hire coordination processes.

  • Configuration and deployment of Mobile devices.

  • Follow standard Helpdesk operating procedures; accurately log and resolve all tickets using ticket tracking software.

  • Assist procurement team with warranty replacements

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • At least two (2) years of IT analyst experience.

  • Experience with MS Office, Excel & Powerpoint

  • Friendly presence and helpful attitude; good interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others.

  • Ability to utilize the applications for Microsoft Office for support, reporting and documentation.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to handle constantly changing flow of traffic; remain productive during slow times, be able to multitask effectively during busy times, exercise patience and professionalism during stressful situations.

  • Creativity. Ability to work around problems and come up with creative solutions.

  • Ability to work with or without direct supervision.

  • Flexibility to work with varying hours, overtime, and on weekends with minimal notice.
