Responsibilities

Role Purpose

The Director, Marketing will create and guide implementation of cross-portfolio strategic plans for NBC Sports Group partners, focusing on the Regional Sports Networks. Responsibilities include strategic marketing objectives/briefs, analysis of data and insights, analysis/approval and implementation of plans.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely and report to SVP, Brand and Content Services to manage all strategies and assets that will be delivered to our partners

  • Track and manage NBC Sports assets and identify ways to maximize and enhance asset value for our partnerships with the Regional Sports Networks, Ad Sales, MVPD’s and NBCU properties

  • Conduct analyses to identify growth opportunities, develop strategies to capitalize on opportunities and successfully execute against these strategies

  • Develop marketing campaigns when needed in collaboration with the Regional Sports Networks

  • Prepare presentations and summaries to communicate projects to senior management team

  • Project manage multi-faceted campaigns and content initiatives across the Regional Sports Networks

  • Work in partnership with Regional Sports Networks and MVPD’s marketing teams to align strategies when appropriate to maximize asset value

  • Support post-mortem analyses on effectiveness of campaigns against original marketing objectives

  • Collect and share best practices within the NBC Sports team marketing group

  • Other projects on an as-needed basis

Qualifications/Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field

  • Minimum seven (7) years’ experience in television marketing

  • Demonstrated ability to strategize and implement marketing campaigns

  • Advanced proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel and Keynote

  • Must be able to provide a portfolio of work examplesAdditional Qualifications

  • Experience in digital and or social media strategy

  • Strong written and verbal communication skillsEligibility Requirements
