Responsibilities

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Administers clerical duties such as managing boss’ contacts and calendar, coordinating travel, processing expenses, filing and covering phones

  • Assists with the creation of memos and documents such as screening reports and quote documents

  • Monitors various national and regional publications for breaks relating to all Universal projects

  • Facilitates print and broadcast breaks and tune-ins

  • Facilitates billing and creating POs

  • Creates and process TRs

  • Maintains press RSVPS for screenings

  • Assists with spotting celebrity guest on the red carpet at premiere

  • Assists with the execution of press events including junkets, screenings, set visits and industry conventions

  • Assists with press check in at publicity screenings, press kits, and maintains attendance lists

  • Creates distribution lists (internal and filmmaker)

  • Books travel for filmmakers

  • Services publicity reports and screening memos to internal executives

  • Reconciles P Card

  • Books screening rooms and theaters for recruited audiences

  • Maintains upkeep of contact lists.

Qualifications/Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in the entertainment industry specifically within marketing, promotions or publicity.

  • An individual seeking this position should have past experience working with multiple clients, departments, etc

  • Strong written and communication skills at all levels

  • Excellent computer skills

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft based software: Outlook, Word and Excel

  • Flexibility to maintain ever-changing schedules and itineraries

  • Extremely detailed and organized

  • Able to work well under pressure and be flexible in an ever-changing environmentEligibility Requirements:

Desired Characteristics

  • 4-year college degree in marketing or related field is preferred but not required
