Responsibilities

SUMMARY:

As the Sourcing Coordinator member of our Sourcing Team, the position will include back up and support of ordering and replenishing, food operations-related products. In addition this position will work closely with the Sourcing Specialist on routine order processing, and will have closely interacts with our CityWalk Food Service locations and mgmt team. You will help coordinate sourcing and purchasing of goods and materials within our food business, insuring that quality products are purchased at competitive prices and delivered in a timely manner to meet customer needs. Under the direction of the Senior Buyer, you may be empowered to source certain products from local vendors. You will ensure a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient customer service to internal customers and team members.

Primary Responsibilities The Sourcing Coordinator will be responsible for input and maintenance of product orders, for CityWalk venues and backup of processing for inventory items in our Eatec inventory database. Responsibilities may include but not be limited to the following:

Ensure accuracy of orders in database and maintain appropriate inventory levels. Primary emphasis upon CityWalk venues, but will also backup for theme park venues.

  • Ensure pricing updates are input into system in an accurate and timely manner.

  • Ensure 3 way matching of order, confirmation and invoices for vendors and venues assigned.

Work with warehouse. AP and venues to ensure Res-Q report items are promptly addressed as they arise. - Communicate with production, logistics, culinary and operational leaders concerning all order needs and challenges concerning orders

  • Issue Purchase orders, and keep records up to date

  • Review PO confirmations and match against POs

-Resolve Purchase Price Variances at the confirmation stage, and ensure accuracy on each order. - Support Sourcing team in achieving departmental goals and meet or exceed COGS targets

Maintains contact with vendors to support order placement and issue resolution for incoming orders.

  • Work with CityWalk purchase and receiving to ensure accuracy in database for all in-coming products. Work with warehouse and venues to ensure order accuracy. Elevate issues as appropriate.

  • Monitor and advice manager(s) on par levels, turns, and inventory.

Monitor any price and contract variance and work with notify manager(s) as appropriate.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • A BA/BS in business or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Minimum 2 years of like work experience or comparable experience in a fast paced, ever changing business.

  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team; ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.

-Must have strong analytic and reasoning skills, the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing as well as a high degree of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations with poise, tact and diplomacy.

  • Strong work ethic and integrity

  • Ability to work independently

  • Strong attention to detail and follow up skills

  • Ability to lift 40 lbs.

  • Available for flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the department.

-The ability to develop and maintain strategic relationships with vendors as well as internal customers and customer support staff is essential.

-Must be proficient in the use of technology including the MS Office suite and the ability to learn to utilize specialty software.

Desired Characteristics -Knowledge of Eatec, SAP, RoboCom, or similar programs a plus
