  • Work with NBCUniversal brands to generate new show programming ideas

  • Leverage existing linear show formats, IP and talent to develop new digital content franchises

  • Manage internal relationships with network partners during both the development and production phases of show creation

  • Help create pitch materials and liaise with Snapchat on production and development notes

  • Act as day-to-day contact with internal production teams, review episodic materials, and give notes throughout all phases of development and current programming

  • Review performance of current programming and identify best content practices on a proactive basis

  • Work with NBCU Digital Lab Lead to coordinate budgets and production management processes to ensure show materials are delivered efficiently and on time

  • Coordinate with legal and business affairs team in the execution of talent deals, rights clearances, and episodic approvals


  • 4 or more years in the creative development space, preferably in both digital and linear environments

  • Experience collaborating with producers, writers, and content creators

  • Spent time at a media company that focused on content development (agency, network, production company, or digital group, or social platform)

Desired Characteristics

  • Encyclopedic knowledge of both TV industry dynamics and digital video offerings across YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat etc.

  • Have the ability to problem solve quickly and independently

  • Comprehensive psychographic understanding of the millennial demographic as it relates to video content production

  • Experience and/or interest developing sports and news content a plus
