Responsibilities

Role Summary:

As the Manager, Licensed Live Entertainment, you will be responsible for helping drive the growth and development of NBCUniversal franchises by working hand-in-hand with licensed partners to maximize NBCU IP, particularly existing and future franchises.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Partner with licensee and align with internal cross functional teams in the development of marketing and communications strategies that are on brand and support budgeted ticket sales, such as Film to Concert and Interactive events and runs.

  • Support licensees to create sponsorship pitches, coordinating internally ensuring that all approvals are received

  • Responsible for managing approvals of in market promotions

  • Project manage all aspects of various digital marketing efforts in support of each licensee with NBCUniversal Digital Teams to maximize results that are measurable

  • Collaborate with consumer products on merchandise approvals for live touring shows.

  • Work with licensees to develop ongoing projections for ticket sales, and coordinate with finance to update forecasts and projections

  • Provide input in developing new opportunities and vetting proposals to maximize revenues, process and in reviewing business models.

  • Understand intricacies of live entertainment contracts with licensees and rights holders ensuring that all expectations and agreements are upheld.

  • Partner with international offices to create customized marketing, communications and promotional plans that are unique to each region

  • Partner, consult and align with internal stakeholders, such as Franchise Management, Brand Marketing, Communications, Creative Design & Development, Product Design & Development, Universal Pictures and Corporate Communications, to ensure one voice with all licensed partners

Qualifications/Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent

  • 3+ years of Marketing, Live Events and/or Brand Management with a proven track record

  • Must have broad experience and understanding of all facets of marketing discipline, including market research, product positioning, promotions and touring

  • High proficiency with Keynote and all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities with experience in development planning and execution as well as financial management and forecastingAdditional Job Requirements:

  • Willing and able to travel extensively, sometimes with short notice, domestically and internationally

  • Able to work nights and weekends as needed
