Role Summary:

Core Function: Develop and execute creative, innovative media plans for Universal’s theatrical and home entertainment releases to deliver best possible ROI in a fast-paced and evolving media landscape. Ensures the execution of various media elements per the agreed upon plan strategy and focuses on management of essential details and information flow.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Manage all local broadcast

  • Manage cross-platform audio strategy and execution

  • Prepare and manage trailer launch recommendations

  • Manage development of all outdoor recommendations

  • Manage development of all outdoor recommendations

  • Present recommendations to upper management

  • Media Department liaison with print production department

  • Prepare Media presentation materials for various plan approval meetings

  • Prepare various media expenditure reports


Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience at an advertising agency, client or motion picture studio working with a marketing organization in a highly analytical role

  • Knowledgeable about film marketing strategies and advertising channels

  • Understanding of media planning and buying processes

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Strong mathematical/analytical and written language skills

  • Strong understanding of media and the ability to apply that knowledge to marketing concepts

  • Attention to detail

  • Fluent in Microsoft ExcelEligibility Requirements:

  • They will be a team player within media group and across the marketing team

  • Media planning/buying experience

  • The ability to calmly and confidently manage the needs of multiple constituencies (e.g., lateral employees, senior management)
