Role Summary:

The Marketing Manager is responsible for the management of key licensees for Film to Concert, Interactive & Experiences, Retail Entertainment and Escape Rooms to support the business strategy while securing alignment with all internal stakeholders. This individual will work closely with the Director of Worldwide Touring Live Entertainment, Director of Exhibitions and Director of Location Based Entertainment to organize many moving parts across multiple licensees and internal team. The Marketing Manager will also be responsible for required legal clearances and as designated merchandise development.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Work hand-in-hand with select licensed partners to manage the development of the show creative, marketing & communications materials and merchandise

  • Film to Concert (E.T., JP, BTTF, Jaws, DWA, Love Actually)

  • Interactive (Minions Run)

  • Retail Entertainment

  • Escape Rooms

  • Manage the day-to-day hot sheet of submissions and approvals process, meticulously managing all elements submitted by licensed partners

  • Project manage all aspects of various digital marketing projects including but no limited to social media

  • Write and review copy for all user facing material

  • Problem solve issues that arise with timelines, budget, feedback, shift in direction and new developments

  • Manage archiving of all projects

  • Manage the day to day sponsorship submissions of all licensed partners

  • Ensure all projects and feedback approvals are delivered on time, while escalating any potential partner or approval issues while managing risk

  • Drive efforts to create synergy programs that support exposure and corresponding ticket sales for live touring entertainment.

  • Responsible for managing approvals of in market promotions

  • Facilitate meetings with key stakeholders, taking notes and sharing out action items

  • Partner, consult and align with internal stakeholders, such as Franchise Management, Brand Marketing, Communications, Creative Design & Development, Product Design & Development, Universal Pictures and Corporate Communications, to ensure one voice with all licensed partners


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent

  • 4+ years of Marketing, Live Events and/or Brand Management with a proven track record

  • Must have broad experience and understanding of all facets of marketing discipline, including market research, product positioning, promotions and touringAdditional Job Requirements:

  • Willing and able to travel extensively, sometimes with short notice, domestically and internationally

  • Able to work evenings and weekends as needed
