Role Summary:

Universal Brand Development drives expansion of the company’s intellectual properties, franchises, characters and stories through innovative products, games and digital content, and experiences globally.

The Marketing Manager works in partnership with the Marketing Director to oversee marketing responsibilities for Jurassic World and the DreamWorks portfolio, including licensee management, sales materials development, campaign management, and serving as a cross functional liaison.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • In partnership with Director, manager oversees activation of consumer and trade marketing campaigns to drive growth for consumer products, games/digital, and live entertainment businesses. Manager will execute marketing programs with a focus on brand integrity and awareness while driving product sales

  • Develops creative briefs and RFPs for internal creative teams and/or external agencies to support marketing initiatives for franchise/property and serves as day-to-day contact on execution of programs

  • Guides development and manages approvals of global marketing programs with consumer products, games and digital, and live entertainment licensees

  • Serves as point person on approvals both internally (marketing execs, brand managers, legal, international) and externally (retailers, licensees, agencies). Manages feedback through our online submissions/approvals system

  • Prepares sales materials including presentations, sell sheets, and sizzle reels to be used for meetings, tradeshows, and other events for respective properties. Prepares materials for distribution to the global team

  • Presents brand perspective at licensee presentations, retail roadshows, and other partner presentations as required

  • Partners with cross divisional teams to maximize cross promotional programs both internally and with external partners and licensees

  • Manages Halo program marketing and event activations on assigned properties

  • Oversees execution and approvals of retail programs in APAC and LATAM on assigned properties

  • Cultivates relationships and extensively communicates with category management, franchise, retail, events, international, and publicity teams

  • Assists with special projects such as partner events, brand summits, tradeshows, etc. as required

  • Manages marketing activation budgets


  • 4+ years of brand management, account management or entertainment marketing experience at a studio, advertising agency or large brand, juggling many projects simultaneously

  • Bachelors degree strongly preferred

  • Technical skills: Proficiency for Microsoft Suite portfolio and strong Mac skills including Keynote. Must have expertise in building presentations.

  • Demonstrated project management and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills and strict attention to detailEligibility Requirements:

Desired Characteristics

  • Comfortable dealing with people at all levels to develop and maintain relationships
