Setting the Scene
There is no production without post production. The team is responsible for StudioPost’s Picture and Audio Post Production Operations, including dailies processing, color correction, composting and much more! By working together, the team provides excellence of service while optimizing the cost of service delivery and enabling scalable operations solutions.
As the first person our clients, visitors, and future employees encounter, the Receptionist is responsible for creating a lasting, positive, and professional impression. As a key component to our organization, the Receptionist reinforces the StudioPost culture by presenting a positive attitude and exceptional customer service to all those visiting our facilities. (Note: this is a L174 Union position. Selected candidate must already be a member of Local 174 Union or willing to join the L174 Union.)
•Answer and field all incoming phone calls on a multi-line console in a timely, courteous manner. Accurately route each call.
•Greet visitors in a friendly, confident, and approachable manner; ensuring they sign in properly, and contact appropriate company personnel of their arrival.
•Ensure a clean and welcoming lobby area for all clients, visitors and employees.
•Provide additional administrative support such as mail distribution and visitor parking spot assignments.
•Generate facility maintenance requests in a complete and timely manner. Track through to completion and escalate potential delays.
•Effectively manage conference room calendar and booking requests.
•Keep manager informed of any customer feedback received.
•At least 3-5 years’ experience as a receptionist or in a related customer service role.
•Demonstrated professionalism, polish and poise.
•Must possess excellent verbal communication skills.
•Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills including graceful handling of diverse client needs.
•Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
•Proven track record of managing multiple priorities.
•Must possess effective listening skills and take direction well.
•Adaptability to changing priorities.
•Ability to remain calm under pressure situations.
•Ability to work as a team player is necessary.
•Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
•Must be willing to join the L174 Administrative Professionals Union
•Bachelor Degree preferred
•Knowledge of Xytech/ScheduAll preferred
•5+ years’ experience in related customer service role.
•Post-production knowledge preferred.
•Flexibility and an ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
