  • The individual will be expected to drive stories (not just chase them) with an emphasis on breaking news.

  • Ability to develop strong sources or industry connections required, as is a strong sense of hustle, keen eye for observational detail, and ability to think two steps ahead of every story.

  • Should have an extensive knowledge of and love for pop culture, and have experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Ability to develop and maintain sources is imperative.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Broadcasting, Communications, or related field

  • Experience in a breaking news environment
