Responsibilities

Role Summary:

The Senior Financial Analyst, Accounting and Reporting, will be responsible for various accounting and reporting requirements within the Brand Development (“CPG”’) business unit, part of the Universal Film Segment (“HQ”). The role is in a fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth and will report to the Accounting Manager.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Key contributor to month-end and quarter close processes

  • Preparing/reviewing journal entries

  • Revenue and cost accrual analysis

  • Balance sheet reconciliations

  • Partnering with HQ, FP&A, and Theatrical Reporting on routine/ad-hoc deliverables

  • Provide support for monthly financial review with Controller and HQ

  • Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed

  • Provide additional oversight over AP function, including vendor set-up, budget analysis, PO accruals

Qualifications/Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience

  • Public accounting experience, Big 4 is a plus

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, primarily ExcelEligibility Requirements:
