5+ years of studio experience directing live, fast-paced news, talk and or sports oriented programs.
Detail-orientated and proficient in streamlining work flows for optimal efficiency.
Strong ability to multi-task, integrating considerable production elements during both live and tape shows, including live shots, graphics, video and cameras for air.
A fluency in our TV terminology and understanding of our studio technology, including robotic camera systems and lighting with the goal of identifying and addressing potential issues.
Knowledge of live news, sports, talk and remote production operations
Ability to work non-traditional hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends & holidays
Strong work ethic, positive can-do attitude, effective communication skills and proven leadership both in and out of the control roomJOB REQUIREMENTS
Previous experience working in a High Definition, state-of-the-art, server based facility
Previous experience working with graphics artists and articulating visual concepts.
Ability to make priority decisions under tight deadlines and keep pace with fast moving shows
Ability to work collaboratively and professionally in a high pressure environment
Must be able to provide a reel/portfolio of work examples -- if available, include a web address when you submit your resume
Proficiency in iNEWS or similar newsroom computer system a plus
Proficiency in Ross Overdrive automation system is a plus
College degree preferred
