JOB SUMMARY : The Design Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all aspects of Creative Studio design activities for all Studio projects and presentations. The Design Coordinator initiates and implements research for IP and project reference to support design activities; coordinates meetings with designers, technical/project specialists and stakeholders; anticipates design needs and implements follow up on action items. Manages, documents and archives art, image and video files and assets with Documentation Control and Designers. Supports the Global Communications & Brand Management team in various design projects

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages and creates presentations for all projects currently in development within the Creative Studio. Supports Senior Manager, Global Communications & Brand Management in creating project updates and tracking costs and commitments.

  • Coordinates regular design and team meetings and tracks weekly design and production deliverables and resources throughout all phases for Studio projects. Monitors design progress, anticipates and plans for next steps and design requirements. Brings in stakeholders as needed. Supports IP and rights clearance process.

  • Is point person to implement and organize Studio documentation for original artwork, color boards, material boards, photo documentation books, sketches and perspectives created for the projects.

  • Schedules creative sessions as needed and coordinates design and production work of various creative vendors. Publishes meeting agendas, takes notes, and tracks task progress of The Creative Team.

  • Interfaces with internal Universal Creative disciplines, as well as UPR divisions globally (retail, entertainment, operations, foods, and tech services) to research information, define program requirements, and promote communication and work flow in all project activities.

SCOPE: Responsible for supporting the Creative Studio for all projects in development through various design projects. Responsible for the administration, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company brand standards, strategy, commitments and goals.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required in Graphic Design or related field or experience.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 1-3 Years experience in a creative design role or equivalent combination of education and experience. Coordinator background strongly preferred.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • Must understand graphic scale.

  • Design portfolio demonstrating experience with Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Presentation design experience, specifically with PowerPoint and Keynote, including use of multiple masters, color themes, animations, actions, and video.

  • Understanding of image formats, resolution, and size.

  • A professional demeanor.

  • Ability to think creatively and justify concepts to clients and team members.

  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Proven aptitude for quick creative thinking with acute attention to detail within demanding deadlines.

  • Ability to work under pressure, deadlines, and incomplete information.

  • Consistent attendance is a job requirement.
