Internship Opportunities Commonly Available :

  • Youth Group Sales This Internship will support the Youth Group Sales Team. Primary contributions will focus on Rock the Universe support. Major Responsibilities:

  • Assists the coordinators and sales team by answering phones, processing applications, making cold calls, following up with groups, assisting with FAMS, and administrative support.

  • Assists with all elements related to the Youth Programs to include, processing payment for tickets, following up with select groups, placing ticket orders, tracking event information and working directly with the Youth Programs team and internal partners.

  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Corporate Sales This position will work closely with the in-market sales coordinators and marketing assistants to make sure information is valid and accurate. In addition, they will help support the corporate sales channel managing the Comcast employee hotline and supporting corporate sales initiatives. Major Responsibilities:

  • Assists with the administrative tasks for the 2018 Universal & U Training program and the overall sales programs for both In-Market Sales & Corporate Sales.

  • Updates existing location master list with new location photos.

  • Adds photos to Salesfocre.com.

  • Visits sales locations in Orlando with sales coordinators.

  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Travel Industry Sales This position will help engage with sales clients through a wide-variety of sales & marketing and training activities, several of which are client-facing. Major Responsibilities:

  • Assists with FAMs and Training Workshop logistics.

  • Works with SalesForce Data Management System.

  • Contributes to the development of marketing campaigns.

  • Helps analyze and rate marketing campaigns and opportunities.

  • Liaison with IMC Department and Sales Integration Team.

  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Sales Integration This position will help support the planning and execution of Familiarization Tours (FAMs), client trainings and team Salesforce and Ticket Wizard/technology support needs. Major Responsibilities:

  • Supports the planning and implementation cycles for FAMs and trainings put on by our Sales Channels.

  • Prints and organizes FAM materials and giveaways.

  • Assists in onsite hotel site visits and park tours.

  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

  • In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Junior or above.

  • Recent graduates will not be eligible for this program.

  • Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA is preferred.

  • An official transcript may be required upon request.

  • Preferred majors include: Hospitality Sales, Business Management, Marketing, Advertising, Social Media Marketing, Business, Event Management.

  • Preferred coursework completed: Business Development, Hospitality Management, Sales and Marketing, Digital Marketing, Computer classes, Social Media Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Prior internship experience related to position is preferred.

  • Experience in Hospitality industry is preferred.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Preferable skills for success in role includes but not limited to:

  • Strong Guest Service skills.

  • Project Management.

  • Strong presentation skills.

  • Must be efficient in Microsoft Office Programs with a strong proficiency in Excel.

  • Knowledge of basic principles of Accounting and Financial Analysis.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities and organization.

  • Exceptional attention to detail.

  • Superior written & verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines.

  • Ability to work autonomously and/or in teams.

  • Consistent attendance.
