JOB SUMMARY : Supports the Legal Department by drafting and reviewing boilerplate contracts, addenda and amendments; assists attorneys in drafting, reviewing and revising more complex contracts; maintains department tickler systems, status reports and corporate records; assists attorneys in responding to document requests and compiling reports; conducts legal research.

  • Supports discrete business areas by drafting and reviewing boilerplate agreements, and addenda and other legal documents.

  • Assists attorneys in drafting, reviewing and revising more complex contracts.

  • Assists in maintaining department tickler systems, status reports and corporate records.

  • Assists attorneys in responding to document requests and generating, compiling and organizing legal reports.

  • Conducts legal research.

  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION: Associate’s degree (AA) is required – Paralegal Certificate (Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university acceptable in lieu of a Paralegal Certificate). Bachelor’s degree is preferred – B.A. in Legal Studies or a related field

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 2 years corporate legal or law firm experience required; 3-5 years preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Must be able to work in a high-paced environment handling multiple tasks at the same time; and must maintain confidentiality of projects, legal and business information at all times.

Consistent attendance is a job requirement.
