JOB SUMMARY : As a part of the 365 Content Team, the Representative is tasked with telling the story of Universal Orlando Resort and the true guest experience in real-time while strategically fostering audience growth, deep-rooted fan affinity, and brand awareness.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Proactive Content Activations

  • Acts as in-the-day executors of any and all social media content.

  • Plans and coordinates approvals and internal integration for in-park live streams featuring Licensed Partners’ IP.

  • Creates always-on Twitter content series to span the entire calendar year – e.g., conversation starters, hashtag games, innovative platform uses, etc.

  • Ideates, plans, creates and distributes content in the moment to showcase the true/authentic guest experience at Universal Orlando Resort.

  • Tests and learns new platforms, new content types, etc., to be leveraged as insights that impact planned content for the entire Social Media team.

Reactive Content Activations

  • Acts as in-the-day executors of any and all social media content.

  • Responsible for bringing the parks and resorts to life via weekly Live Stream content.

  • Provides live coverage of events and moments happening around the resort as well as behind the scenes coverage.

  • Executes daily and/or weekly Instagram and Snapchat content and stories.

  • Acts on opportunities to tie the brand to relevant trends through thoughtful, strategic and relatable content.

Fan Engagement

  • Acts as in-the-day executors of any and all social media content.

  • Owns and executes a strategic surprise and delights experience.

  • Converts online conversations into in-person, in-park special engagement moments.

  • Actively plans strategic social engagement to solidify the brand voice across all social platforms.

  • Plans and creates trendspotting content that anchors the brand to relevant trends in a proactive and reactive environment.

  • Analyzes and tracks campaign performance, making real-time recommendations and help solidify and operationalize global KPIs and dashboards.

Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.

Performs other duties as assigned.

SCOPE: Ideation, strategic planning, creation and distribution of digital content.

EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED is required. Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university is required. Bachelor’s Degree (degree in Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, English, or Communication is preferred).

EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years of experience in relevant fields (digital marketing, digital communications, social media, advertising, marketing) including at least 1-2 years of experience in social media-focused role

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (degree in Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, English, or Communication is preferred).

  • All candidates should be prepared to showcase the best of their work in interviews.

  • Proven experience launching strategic social media initiatives and managing campaigns.

  • Propensity for Time Management/Multi-Tasking: The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is solutions-oriented, thrives under pressure, enjoys fast-paced work and is dedicated to quality. He/she is extremely motivated and in search of a challenging, career-advancing opportunity.

  • Candidate should be familiar with basic photo / video editing, altering, creating, and sharing. Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator knowledge is a major plus.

  • Creative thinker with a history of producing innovative content for digital marketing channels.

  • Must have a basic understanding of marketing concepts and content distribution strategy.

  • Mastery of Social Media Tools: Must have extensive experience with all major social channels and experience/understanding of social media management tools like Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Radian 6, Omniture, WebTrends, Adobe Social etc.

  • Advanced skills in graphic design, illustration, photography, and video are a plus.

  • Must have a passion for social media, online communities and digital content.
