JOB SUMMARY : Responsible for managing all sales and soliciting efforts for Youth Groups. (Youth Tour Operators and Youth Group Direct business).


  • Develops and manages existing accounts, including regular sales calls/meetings to keep clients updated, entertaining clients, and employee training to increase destination product awareness and to achieve objective for sales volume and revenue. Follows up with past accounts for future leads and referrals.

  • Assists in the development of sales/marketing plans and sales initiatives.

  • Works closely with Trade Marketing in the development of marketing and promotional collateral.

  • Develops new business and generation of sales leads to increase revenue and relationships.

  • Attends industry tradeshows and relevant association meetings to keep abreast of industry. Moderate to heavy travel required.

  • Promotes the destination to prospective customers by hosting FAMs and conducting site/training tours.

  • Works closely with peers to market all UO products to generate awareness, increase multi-park/on-site sales and maintain creative integrity across all brands.

  • Maintains current knowledge on all destination programs and products.

  • Prepares and distributes client contracts.

  • Act as liaison between the end client and all UO internal departments, including IMC, Event Management, Entertainment, Admissions and Group Travel Operations.

SCOPE: Drives destination sales through the management of assigned Youth Tour Operators and group direct business. Seeks and establishes new business opportunities to increase destination sales. Liaises with internal partners such as Integrated Marketing Communications, Event Management, Program Development, Entertainment, Finance and Operations to ensure clients are aligned with UOR.


  • Ability to manage in collaborative team environment and lead /influence partners

  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to customers, clients, and other team members

  • Ability to deal with competing demands, prioritize tasks and effectively problem solve

  • Ability to learn, interpret and discuss general sales/financial reports

  • Effective negotiation skills

  • Knowledge of Salesforce

  • Must work well under pressure

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Business or Hospitality Sales required.

EXPERIENCE: 5-7 Years sales experience in the hospitality industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
