JOB SUMMARY : The eCommerce Ticket Senior Representative will be responsible for partnering with technology, brand and web production teams to create an unparalleled guest experience that optimizes guest engagement and drives conversion rates for tickets, add-ons and combos for Universal Orlando Resort. Responsibilities will include project management, strategy development, cross-functional team leadership, vendor/intern/contractor supervision, analysis and optimization of customer experience, and rollout of content and ecommerce strategies.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop strategy for current, new and promotional products across multiple platforms. This includes, but is not limited to merchandising, upselling and using available tools and data to improving user experience as it relates to guests purchasing products.

  • Represent business during appropriate meetings and work sessions that are defining products and promotions. Communicate to partners the status of plans.

  • Oversee that the execution meets strategic plans and timelines.

  • Partner with IT Ops to ensure that the stores are functioning effectively and efficiently.

  • Responsible for presenting area of opportunities and/or new ideas to Senior Manager that require enhancements or optimization efforts.

  • Assist eCommerce Senior Manager with creation of timelines and tracking progress of website initiatives, making sure they are on time and on budget.

  • Assist with UAT for new ticket store releases, upgrades and defect resolution.

  • Monitor and test website and mobile platforms in order to ensure content accuracy and brand compliance.

  • Monitor daily website publishing requests and manage the execution and communication processes.

  • Conduct competitive benchmarking, analysis, and monitoring.

SCOPE: Responsibilities will include project management, strategy development, cross-functional team leadership, vendor/intern/contractor supervision, analysis and optimization of customer experience, and rollout of content and ecommerce strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Advanced Excel experience is a plus.

  • Ability to make website/mobile UX and business improvement recommendations based on analytics and customer feedback.

  • Proficient with online direct marketing techniques e.g. delivering relevant content / offers based on business rules and/or guest value.

  • Able to articulate best practices and innovative ideas for serving consumers with relevant dynamic content based on segmentation opportunities.

  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to explain technical concepts to marketers and other stakeholders.

  • Excellent organizational, multi-tasking and time-management skills.

  • Practical knowledge of Content Management System (CMS) publishing as well as website analytics tools is preferred.

  • Project management or business analysis experience is preferred.

  • Knowledge of Adobe Analytics is a strong plus.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or Advertising is required. Master’s degree is a plus.

EXPERIENCE: 4-6+ years of marketing experience required. Experience in project management associated with managing multiple website projects as well as online product marketing campaigns, including managing timelines, creative feedback, targeting, approval cycles is preferred. Experience developing and analyzing reports to measure program performance is a plus.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: May require on occasion to work during overnight hours for specific product or feature releases.
