Under the supervision of the Country Director for Universal Consumer Products, the Retail Manager will be responsible for the development and management of retail programs for France. The focus of the position is to maintain ongoing relationships with key retailers including buyers and marketing to maximize placement and sales of licensed products, deliver significant retail marketing, media value and promotional activity and create cohesive programs incorporating all Universal/NBCU business units that trade at retail. (Promotions, home entertainment and consumer products).
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• Extensive experience of retail marketing and brand licensing
• Comprehensive experience and understanding of the France consumer products landscape
• Strong organizational and communication skills working in a fast paced environment
• Professional working proficiency of French and English
• Excellent communication & presentation skills
• Ability to influence the account and tenacity to sell in programs
• Excellent presentation skills with executive presence and leadership
• Team Player
• Proven track record of hitting targets and delivering growth
• Travel is required
• Driven, passionate and highly motivated
• Strong interpersonal skills
