About Us NBC Universal Global Distribution is responsible for the licensing of NBC Universal product to all forms of television and new media in over 200 territories in addition to the U.S. and Canada. This includes a rich library of more than 4,200 feature films and 110,000 television episodes, including current and classic titles, non-scripted programming, sports, news, long-form and short-form programming, and locally produced content from around the world. Global Distribution is a division of Comcast NBC Universal. Within Global Distribution, the Global Sales Support and Fulfillment team encompasses Product Management, Sales Administration, Television Distribution Services, and Systems Management.

Television Distribution Services coordinates the deliveries of digital files, audio and text metadata to over 2000 global and local partners around the world. They also manage the mastering, digital encoding, formatting, dubbing, subtitling, captioning, editing and certification of NBC Universal’s vast library to serve all television and digital platforms. The team works closely with Production, Post Production, Broadcast Operations, Marketing, Legal, Research and Sales Administration to insure that content is delivered according to all contractual obligations, while maintaining the creative integrity of NBC Universal’s extensive product library.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

  • Minimum of one years’ experience in videotape and/or digital operationsAdditional Job Requirements

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience servicing EST/VOD Worldwide Platform Clients, i.e. Google, Amazon

  • Knowledge of videotape, digital encoding formats and electronic delivery methods

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite – including but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint

  • Must work effectively under own initiative and strict deadlines

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Demonstrates ability to communicate clearly and professionally with both internal and external clients/customers

  • Team player – able to multitask and deal with different clients simultaneously

  • Foreign Language Skills a plus, but not necessary
