    • Minimum 5 years of experience in Electronic News Gathering photography
    • Must be fully knowledgeable in all aspects of ENG field operations
    • Must be proficient working with Non-Linear edit systems
    • Must be proficient in digital video workflows (FTP, Bonded-Cellular, and/or IP connectivity)
    • Must be able to safely operate a microwave transmission van
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in equipment
  • *Ability to perform physical demands of position: standing, bending, stooping, kneeling for prolonged periods of time and other duties as assignment demands

  • *Job requires the ability to perform well outside in all types of weather and with a high degree of self-sufficiencyEligibility Requirements:

Desired Characteristics


    • Degree in broadcast Journalism/Production, related education, military or otherwise
    • Must be self-motivated, collaborative and possess a high level of creativity to tell compelling stories with audio and video
    • Demonstrate an excellent photography skill-set in newsgathering, News production, station promotions and other general station projects
    • Work independently and capture informative, reliable and technically accurate audio and video
    • Exceptional knowledge navigating the Internet and working with computers and digital equipment
    • Efficiently work collaboratively with others under daily pressures to meet deadlines
    • Productively excel within a fast-paced and multi-cultural local broadcast operations
  • *Ability to solve technical issues in the field

    • Effective communicator, both orally and in writing
  • *Flexible in obtaining further licensing requirements for larger vehicles
